About the session

The book club is a haven for book-loving kinksters — a place to read books, talk about books, and share your appreciation for books with other readers. Would you like to join? Vote for the book you want to read. The poll closes on August 27th and the winning book will be announced during the book club premiere. After that, this event description will be updated with details about the book. https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/qYgEmkWJW7 https://nawastudio.se/sv/events/26-25

Practical information

  • This is a structured gathering focused on discussion around the reading material. All participants are therefore expected to have read the specified sections prior to each session.
  • Everyone participates in the discussion on their own terms, and if you need help joining the conversation, simply raise your hand.
  • You do not need prior experience with the discussion topic to participate, but you do need a willingness to listen and remain humble regarding the experiences of active practitioners.
  • Fika is available for purchase and enjoyment in the cafe, often homemade. 🧁🍰🥧☕

Rules

  • We show respect and understanding for one another.
  • The conversation remains focused on the assigned reading material.
  • For practical reasons, all food and drink must remain in the cafe (the bar, tables, and/or sofa) so we avoid crumbs and stains on the mats in the rope rooms.
  • YKINMKBYKIOK applies. We speak from our own experiences, respecting that everyone has different experiences and dreams, and that no one's reality is wrong for them. The goal is not for all of us to share the same opinions, but to explore different perspectives.
  • We are here to learn from each other. Respectful questions are encouraged and met with kindness. Those who know more about a topic encourage and help those who know less.
  • What is said at the book club stays at the book club. We are careful not to share each other's experiences and perspectives with outsiders.
  • All reading is reading — whether it is a physical book, an e-book, an audiobook, an AI podcast, or something else entirely. We do not judge how others consume literature.
